Le Pavillon Libanais à la Biennale de Venice 2022. Le Monde à l'image de l'Homme

Danielle Arbid and Ayman Baalbaki, two Lebanese artists with very different backgrounds, come together to confront their visions of Lebanon and the events that devastated the country, particularly the civil war from the 1970s to the 1990s.
It is a succession of works that speak to each other within this book to tell and expose their feelings about these events. Paintings, photographs, montages and performances stage this relationship to Lebanon, accompanied by several stories related to the context and explanation of the works.
