1) Price

Prices are indicated in euro inclusive of VAT, exclusive of transportation cost as recommended by the French Law on the unique retail price of books.

The prices of second hand books is non negotiable. It is established accordingly with the condition of purchase, the interest of the book, the status of the book and the demand.

The books are invoiced based on the tariff displayed at the order confirmation. All orders are payable in euros. For order originated out of the European Community and FrenchTerritories, the price is calculated exclusive of VAT. The customs clearance cost and other taxes are paid by the buyer who is also responsible for checking the custom process of its country. Professionals from the European Union having a Intra-communitarian VAT number, the invoice will calculated excluding VAT only if the VAT number is supplied before the order. The VAT number will be controlled automatically. 

2) Availability and delivery

 Le Puits Aux Livres hold in stock 80% of the books available on the website which allow a fast process of order. The other books will be delivered according to availability from the publisher or wholesaler. An estimate delay in working days is calculated for the non available titles, this delay is an estimate and can’t be contractual.

If the order is not available, the customer will be informed within the shortest delay by email. We commit to refund the article which can’t be supplied.

Le Puits Aux Livres sells “to be published” titles in pre-orders. Those specific orders have to be paid before the release date from the publisher. In case of delay in the actual release of the book from the publisher, Le Puits Aux Livres can’t be charge responsible.

3) Payment

The payment of orders can be processed:

     - either by banker's card: Visa , Paypal , Amex ,  Eurocard-Mastercard , and other credit cards .

All payments are proceed via a secured SSL payment system to guarantee the highest secured transaction. All data submitted are encrypted and saved on the secured .server of the bank: Banque Populaire du Massif Central.

     - or by cheque in euros, to be cleared in a French bank, made out to " Le Puits aux Livres ". The cheque is cashed with the order.

4) Carriage costs

Deliveries are free of charged in France only and from 29 Euros.

For France, all shipment are delivered with signature by the company GLS. 

For orders below 29 Euros a fee of 2.99 Euros is automaticaly added to the order.

 For orders out of France, the fees varies accordingly with the destination, the delivery way. Those delivery fees are automatically calculated and added to the invoice. For most cases the delivery in Western Europe will be done by GLS, for the rest of the orld by the professional service of the French post: Colissimo Expert International.

The books are delivered to the address specified when the order was processed. The delays of delivery include the time of packing and the time needed for transportation. Le Puits Aux Livres can’t be charged for delays due to problems happening during the transport of the goods. For the delivery from GLS, the books can be delivered at your home, your office, at a neighbor or any other location of your choice. If you can’t be available to receive the good and ask for a change it is done free of charge but will increase the delays needed up to an extra 48 hours accordingly with the new destination. In any case, in order to facilitate the work of the courier, please inform us as soon as possible of the new destination of the good including the new access code and phone number.

6) Returns

Accordingly with the French Law of Trade, the buyer is allowed a return right. You have 7 days from the date of reception to return the good at your expenses and in its shrink wrapping and with the original invoice. The good will exchanged or refunded at your convenience within the best delays only if the book is intact and with no traces of use.

If a book is imperfect, exception made of the second hand book, we can exchange or refund the book under the restriction that the original book has been returned to us with a proof of delivery within 15 days following the first delivery of the book. We won’t refund before checking the status of the book ourselves. The second hand books are rated from 1 to 10 according to our perception and are not to be considered as imperfect titles.

7) Information

The personal data that you enter when registering on www.lepuitsauxlivres.com are only used for processing the orders and are confidential. Our company is registered with the French administration (CNIL) ensuring the data privacy. Accordingly to the low on IT and Freedom from January 6^th 1978, the user has the right to access his data, modify or delete them. TO access your data please contact us via email or mail with your full name and address.

The cover of the upcoming titles is not contractual we can’t be responsible for any changes made.

Each order causes the acceptation of the present payment conditions without exception or reserve. Those selling condition can be changed at any time and without warning. In case of dispute the Court of Roanne will have jurisdiction.

All our sales despatched and invoiced outside the EEC are automatically calculated without VAT.
