Girodet - Imitations d'Anacréon

Preserved in the Louvre Museum, this collection offers us a set of plates gathered in different notebooks which, for some, have never been published. This will to reveal all these drawings allows us to try to understand the way of creating, composing, and painting of the great masters. This presentation, accompanied by rigorous studies, allows us to understand the meaning of these drawings and how they contribute to the creative process. These two books are accompanied by the works of Anne-Louis Girodet.
